Helix Minisports - New MINI Cooper and Cooper S performance parts and tuning

The MINI is most competitive in the stock classes for autocross; unfortunately the rules leave very few modifications that are legal for the class. But there are still a lot of things you can do to the car, and these are the best of them.

Mini Cooper H-stock AutoX Package

First thing wheels and tires,
Tires are the single most important aspect for success in autocross and we’ve selected a wheel and tire package that is fast, light, and will fit in the trunk of the MINI. The Kumho V710 is a DOT-legal competition tire, that when paired with a lightweight wheel like the 12 lb MINI Holey wheels (15x5.5”) make for an excellent track day combination.

Next, Milltek Exhaust
The Milltek Catback Exhaust reduces weight and gives about an extra 5lb ft of torque. It comes with a lifetime anti-corrosion warranty and a 12-month warranty against a manufacturing fault.

Front Sway Bar
In the stock class you are not allowed to change the rear sway bar, but you are allowed to change the front sway bars. So we’ve gone to a smaller bar to help the car rotate. We have imported the piece especially from England for this kit

Koni Shock Absorber
Koni Yellows are the highest quality OEM replacement shock absorbers. The “Yellow” offers you the added benefit of allowing you to adjust for rebound stiffness. They greatly improve the handling of the car.

CG Lock
The best bang for the back in the modification world. It cinches the lower portion of your seat belt so you can spend your energy focusing on the road ahead of you instead of trying to stay in your seat.
