The Shop
The Helix Motorsports headquarters is located in the beautiful Roxborough section of Philadelphia. The 5700 square-foot shop is equipped with a Mustang MD-250 two-wheel load-type dynamometer, two lifts, and a close-knit team dedicated to enhancing MINI and BMW performance. In addition to designing BMW and MINI performance parts at the Roxborough shop, Helix also specializes in MINI and BMW repair in the Philly area.
The company was founded in 2001, shortly after BMW released the new MINI in Europe. Before the MINI became available in the United States, the owner and founder of Helix was already in the process of designing MINI performance parts for first generation models. Helix was the owner of the first left hand drive new MINI in the country, importing it from Gothenburg, Sweden in November of 2001. Since its inception, Helix has dedicated itself to producing top-quality performance parts for the MINI and BMW.

The Dyno
If you want to acquire accurate readings of your engine's power output, visit Helix's dyno test facility in Philadelphia. For non-Philly dwellers with a palate for power, the shop with the dyamometer and dyno testing equipment is only a short drive for car enthusiasts living in New York City, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. The shop is equipped with a Mustang MD-250 two-wheel eddy current dyno that's capable of measuring up to 750 wheel-HP. It also has an integreated wide band O2 sensor.What is the dynamometer designed for?
- Testing product HP claims.
- Measuring HP and torque over the entire RPM range.
- Graphing baseline performance against upgraded performance.
Dyno rates are $95/hour and group rates are avaiable.

Our shop rate is $85 per hour but many popular modifications and installations are billed at a flat rate. The table shows our flat rate installation prices.Price is for labor only unless otherwise noted (item price and tax will be added).

Purchases
Return Policies
Any item in new, unused condition may be returned within 30 days of purchase. A return authorization (RMA) number must be first obtained by calling Helix Motorsports at 267-335-4337. A 15% handling and restocking fee will be assessed for each item returned. All returned items must be in as-new, resalable condition. Any item that has been installed on a vehicle will not be accepted for return under any condition. All return shipments must be prepaid and there are no refunds on shipping charges. Shipping insurance on returned items is recommended, as refunds can only be made on as-new, resalable condition items. Please note that certain items such as turbo kits, complete chipped DME/ECU Control Modules, exhaust systems, or special order items are non-returnable or refundable. Deposits for special order items are not refundable.

Shipping Conditions
Not all items are kept in stock at all times. Some items require a few days lead time. Orders placed before 1pm EST on in-stock items will usually be shipped the same day.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates calculated by our online shopping cart are only estimates and Helix does not guarantee that the shipping rate displayed is the shipping rate that you will be charged. Actual costs are rarely higher than the estimate, but due to variables like remoteness of location, courier surcharges, and acts of God, we cannot guarantee that the online shipping quote will be exact.
International Orders
Shipping International Orders, and orders to Hawaii and Alaska
If you would like to place an order that is to be shipped outside of the 48 contiguous United States, we have found that our standard shipping method is not the quickest and least expensive. To save you time and money, these types of orders will be shipped via the US Postal Service.
International Order Processing
Orders placed from outside of the USA are always welcome.
For internationl orders we accept wire transfer payment of funds. Wiring funds is very quick and easy. Please contact us for bank and routing information necessary to wire funds for your purchase. You as the purchaser are responsible to pay for all outgoing fees on the transfer, and we do levy a wire transfer surcharge of US$25.00 to cover our costs when receiving a wire.
At this time, we are unable to process orders leaving the continental 48 states online, but we will be more than happy to take your order over the phone or via email.
